Italian Agenzia Delle Entrate is changing: following electronic invoices, which became compulsory last January, the next step will be for retail stores to communicate daily revenues to the Agenzia.

Key information:

What: law 127/2015 makes online cash registers compulsory for every point of sale. These will be configured to communicate daily with the Agenzia Delle Entrate.

When: starting July 2019 for bigger retailers (with yearly revenues exceeding 400.000€), while every other company will be affected by January 2020.

How: every retailer shall check wether their current registers can be set for an online communication towards Agenzia Delle Entrate or not. In the latter case, those registers shall be replaced.

What about software: bigger, more structured retailers shall configure their software in order to allow their data-flow to be automatically integrated by the Agenzia Delle Entrate software system.
